WHAT CAN IT HELP WITH?
The most common areas I help with are weight control, pain management, difficulty in sleeping, anxiety/stress management, fear and forgiveness, to stop smoking. However, if you are truly seeking peace and calm in a particular area of your life then it can help with just about anything!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
As mentioned above, Hypnosis allows an individual to completely relax, moving away from the conscious thinking and tapping into what the subconscious and unconscious mind need. When we remove the noise of everyday living and thinking we begin to develop clarity and understand what we truly want and how to access it.
WHY DOES IT WORK ON SOME PEOPLE AND NOT ON OTHERS?
Often people come into a hypnosis session with preconceived ideas of what to expect - for example clucking like a chicken on a public stage! When tension, doubt and fear are foremost in our thinking, the opportunity to relax and submit are no longer accessible - we are in fright or flight mode! When you are ready to relax and accept the process of surrendering to your inner self there are usually positive results.
WHAT IF I'M NOT COMFORTABLE AND WANT TO STOP THE SESSION?
Contrary to popular believe, you are ALWAYS in complete control of your thoughts and actions. At any time you can stop the session by sitting up, opening your eyes, or speaking. In fact, it is better you do stop the session if you are not comfortable as this will always inhibit ultimate results. The ideal session is one where you are relaxed, calm and comfortable.
DO YOU DO COACHING WITH THE HYPNOSIS?
Depending on what is happening for you, often a combination of both will give you a more thorough, and often quicker, result.
HOW DOES IT WORK ONLINE?
The majority of the style of hypnosis I use is relaxation, discussion, action and reaction. It is possible to achieve all this via a Zoom session. As I do not use any external systems - swinging pendulums, watches, rhythmic audio, etc it is easier to achieve online.
